Enough Pretending.

We’ve reached a dangerous place where we would rather be comforted in our delusion, than set free by the truth.

Pretending that the Bible doesn’t say what we don’t want it to say doesn’t change what it says.

And it doesn’t make us right. Or saved.

Just because your church may tolerate sin, doesn’t mean God does.

I’m outspoken here because my perspective on sexual identity and immorality is one from personal experience, not disdain for people who sin differently than me.

God saved my life and my soul. He thwarted my own attempts of ending my life to save my soul from eternal suffering.

This isn’t religious heresy.
This isn’t about the speck and the log.
This isn’t holier than thou judgment being cast on people around me.

Tolerating sin in our lives prevents us from being able to walk in the wholeness and freedom that God has designed for us to access through Jesus Christ.
